Join us for our spring gardening workshop series, where experienced gardeners share practical knowledge to help you grow a thriving garden this season. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to expand your skills, there is something for everyone.

Spring Soil Preparation

Saturday, March 7, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Learn how to test, amend, and prepare your garden beds for planting. We will cover composting basics, soil pH, and organic fertilizers.

Seed Starting Indoors

Saturday, March 14, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Get a head start on the growing season! We will demonstrate seed starting techniques, light requirements, and transplanting tips for tomatoes, peppers, and herbs.

Companion Planting

Saturday, March 21, 2026 · 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM

Discover which plants help each other grow, deter pests naturally, and maximize your harvest in small spaces. Hands-on planting in our raised beds included.

Workshop Details

Location: Sunshine Community Garden, Plot 12, Main Pavilion

Cost: $15 per workshop or $35 for all three

Includes: Materials, seed packets to take home, and homemade lemonade

Spots are limited to 20 participants per workshop
